Mount Shasta | Accommodations
The City of Mt. Shasta is nestled at the foot of beautiful Mount Shasta. At 14,162 feet, Mount Shasta is the second highest volcano in the United States and a major peak of the Cascade range. Mt. Shasta is surrounded by natural beauty, spectacular mountain vistas and crystal clear alpine lakes. Spiritual seekers, healers, alternative health practitioners, environmentalists and outdoor enthusiasts are all drawn to Mt. Shasta because of its engaging and pure beauty. This is a nonresidential course. However, there are many hotels, motels, and inns within the downtown area. In warmer weather, several campgrounds can be used only a few minutes drive from town.
